About Us

Demont Design owner, Kimberly McGuire Demont, was born and raised in Danville. She’s a 1984 graduate of Tunstall High School and a 1988 honor graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, commercial art concentration, from James Madison University. She began work at McCain Printing in January 1989. She worked there until June 1990 when she took a graphic design position with V&A. In March 2011, upon the close of V&A, Kim opened her own agency to continue offering high end graphic services.

Demont Design, located in the upstairs of the Lavender Group building in historic downtown Danville, is a graphic design agency built on the 20+ year foundation of Vaden & Associates, Inc., Danville, Virginia. V&A was established on April 1, 1989 by Dan and Vickie Vaden. At that time there were no stand alone graphic design firms in the Danville area. Dan started the company in order to offer high quality layout and design to a market in need of his services.

As V&A grew their clientele, Kim gained valuable experience in the graphic design industry as well as a reputation for producing quality designs. In addition to the graphic knowledge, she also learned great business practices that helped build V&A into a well respected company in the community. It is on this reputation that Demont Design continues to serve Danville and the surrounding areas. And it is still the only stand alone graphic design firm in the area.

Demont Design offers graphic design services on any type of printed products such as brochures, catalogs, corporate identity packages including logos, newsletters, annual reports, monthly magazines & tabloid publications, etc. Additional graphic services include specialty layout for billboards, signage, t-shirts, museum display panels, mugs, etc. Demont Design also acts as a print broker when a turn-key production is required.

The most recent addition to the services offered by Demont Design includes web development. This is an exciting step for the company with the addition of Melissa Clay Montanez.
